David Beaubrun was born in Port-Salut, Haiti, in the 1970’s. At a very young age, David began to develop a special feel for arts. As he learned to hold a pencil and write his name, he was also drawing images of people and nature. David cultivated his passion for art more intensely in primary and part of his secondary school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Then he moved to the United States, wherein David began to unleash his artistic talents steadily and maturely.

Providentially, shortly after moving to the U.S., his passion for arts was quickly recognized by his art teacher, Mr. B. T. Bean at Lely High School in Naples, Florida. Shortly thereafter, his paintings were published in the front page of the Naples Daily Newspaper, after being chosen to present his work at a JC Penney store in Naples. A few months later, his paintings were exhibited at the Paul Arsenault Gallery, downtown of Naples. Henceforth, David began to make a name for himself.

After three years of great success in selling his paintings, David decided to move to Miami to attend International Fine Art College, where he spent one year studying Visual Art. The change of environment made David looked beyond simply arts. As a result, David decided to serve his country by joining the United States Navy for four years. During these years of service, David learned some lifelong lessons: leadership skills, integrity, commitment, etc. David also had the privilege to travel the world and to visit numerous great historical sites and art galleries, which stretched his imagination and rekindled his passion for arts further.

Upon David’s completion of his four years in the Navy, he decided to go back to school to become a graphic designer at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where he graduated two years later with a Bachelor of Arts. One month later, he was hired as an illustrator at Atico International USA, where he spent 7 years creating digital artworks using Photoshop and Illustrator for Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, and many other renowned companies. David is now completing his Master of Fine Arts at AI Miami International University of Arts and Design.
